SUMMARY
When manual or automated updates trigger changes to compliance in Disclose, a call is made to an external workflow service to create the workflow. The Workflow Manager section displays useful messages providing the status of the compliance event for the user. These messages range from error notifications in the rare occurrence that there is an error creating the event to notifications regarding conflicting event preventing initiation of the newly created event.
Messages and what they indicate:
There is a workflow currently in progress. This workflow will be created when higher-priority compliance events are completed.
This message will be displayed anytime a change occurs on a study which generates a new Compliance Event, while an existing event is in progress. An example of a scenario that would generate this message is when a user creates a manual attachment compliance event while there is an ongoing data change maintenance event in progress. Another occurrence is when data changes were applied to a study while an amendment maintenance event is in progress. Once the in progress event is completed, the workflow will be created and the message will be removed.
There was an error while creating the [template name] workflow. Please contact support to let them know and provide next steps.
This message will be displayed when a call is made to the workflow service but does not yield successful creation of an event. This is a rare occurrence and needs to be addressed by the technical support team. Please reach out to the TrialScope Support team at [email protected] for assistance.
The workflow is being created. Please refresh the screen to see if it has completed
As mentioned above, the workflow service is a separate application that is referenced by Disclose to create the Compliance Events and related workflows. It can take a few seconds for the workflow to be created. While the Compliance Event is being created, this message will inform the user to refresh the screen to reload and display the event.
Please check in the study, in order for the workflow to be created.
This message will be displayed any time a change occurs on a study which generates changes to a Compliance Event and the study is checked out. To ensure that the compliance event will be created referencing the correct business rules and scheduled accordingly, the latest set of data must be saved and checked in.
The workflow service is currently unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes. If you continue to experience an issue, please contact support.
This message will be displayed when a call is made to the workflow service, but the workflow service is offline. The user should try again to see if there was a temporary hiccup resulting in this error. If the error persists, please reach out to the TrialScope Support team at [email protected] for assistance.
