Summary: Users can compare ClinicalTrial.gov form versions.
How to Compare Current Form Version to Most Recent Previous version
On form, click Compare in upper left-hand corner of the screen:
After clicking, Compare will turn blue. The current form version is now being compared to the most recent previous version.
Note: A new navigation panel will appear on the left, displaying sections that have a change from the previous version.
Clicking on any of the links in the new navigation panel will immediately take you to the section selected. Clicking on the Show Changed Only will display changed sections only.
Field values that have been added from the previous version will be red and underlined. If there was a value in the version being compared, it will be displayed red with a strike-through.
Note: Validation messages do not display in compare mode. Clicking the alert icon will display the following:
The display in upper-right corner will show what version is being compared. Clicking the blue drop-down arrow allows you to change the version being compared:
