How to Compare Data

Pre-requisite:

  • Data is entered on the form you wish to compare.

  • User is logged into Pharma CM and has selected the desired study

  1. Navigate to the Study Workspace panel and click on the ‘Compare’ feature.

  1. On the Source section, click on the source field dropdown and select ‘ProtocolRegForm’. On the version field, click on the dropdown and select the desired version. Proceed to the Target section. On the target field dropdown, select ‘ProtocolRegForm’. On the version field, select the desired version from the dropdown.

  1. Once the Source and target have been specified, click on the “Compare” button.

  1. The “Protocol Comparison Report” displays with its respective legend informing the user of any data that has been Changed, Added, Deleted, or if there is a system message.

Legend Information:

  1. Text that has been Changed between versions will be shaded in pink

  2. Text that has been Added between versions will be highlighted with a blue square box

  3. Text that has been Deleted between versions will display with a strikethrough

  4. Any system messages will be displayed on each field as *** System Message***
