Issue:
When the study type of a study is changed from Interventional to Expanded Access, the fields on the Outcome Measures tab of the PRF disappear because the Outcome Measures Section is not applicable for Expanded Access studies. However, if information is entered in these fields before the study type is changed, the information is retained in the XML. If an invalid character is included in one of these fields an error message will be displayed in the Validation Messages pop-up, but will not be visible on the form.
Workaround:
To resolve this, users can change the study type to Interventional and then resolve the error and change the study type back to Expanded Access. Or users can reach out to PharmaCM for a PRF XML that will remove the error.
Proposed Resolution:
ADO-2382 has been raised to address this issue in a future version of PharmaCM.
